Indoor pond construction
Indoor pond design
Where there is sufficient space, an indoor pond or water feature can add character, interest and charm particularly to a conservatory, indoor swimming pool or dining hall.
There are issues surrounding water temperature that must be addressed at the design stage. Water temperature must be kept at acceptably low levels unless a "tropical" pond with attendant species of fish and plants is to be built, in which case the temperature must not be permitted ever to fall below that at which the plants and fish will thrive.
Indoor pond planting, filtration and maintenance
Filtration systems are always required for indoor ponds. Whilst it is recognised that any filtration system should have a backup system in place in case of failure of one of its component parts, this precaution is often omitted in outdoor systems. In indoor ponds we consider a backup system to be essential.
